Samuil Hordas died on 27 of January 1944 on the Baltic road. He is mentioned on the site of the memory of the fallen in the World War II

Hordas Samuil, son of Vol'f, Red Army soldier, 192 SP. Born: kolkhoz "2nd five-years" of Ekimovich district. Died in a battle on 27.01.1944. Buried: Leningrad area, Gatchina district, vil. Mentkovo.

Another document from the site indicates that the last place of residence of the family of relatives is Bobruisk.
