Актриса, ученица Таирова, работала в Москонцерте. училась актёрской профессии у А. Я. Таирова, но после ареста её первого мужа (и отца брата Ирины — Рудольфа) Ивана Игнатьевича Толпежникова (1900—1937) её карьера, не успев начаться, оказалась прерванной навсегда. Работала в Москонцерте, где познакомилась со своим третьим мужем (с 1965 года).
