Аса (ивр. אָסָא), сын Авии — царь Иудейского царства, правивший в 908 — 867 до н. э.. В десятом году царствования Асы, в Иудею вторглись египтяне фараона Зарая (2Пар.14:9), но иудеи смогли отбить врагов под Мариссой. Спустя восемнадцать лет после этого, в Иудею вторгся израильский царь Вааса (Бааша), но Аса заставил и их отступить. Иосиф Флавий писал что Аса был порядочным и богобоязным царем. Все его поступки указывали на его благочестие.
