Брак с Отто состоялся в день рождения Магды, 3 августа 1931 (или по другим данным 1932) года, через 30 минут после того, как Магда получила официальное подтверждение развода со своим первым мужем. Отто потребовал, чтобы Марион прекратила актёрскую деятельность. Милл направила свою энергию в устройство званных вечеров, которые стали пользоваться большими успехом и очень способствовали развитию карьеры молодого импрессарио. Интересы пары расходились, Марион не могла заниматься актёрской деятельностью, у Отто были романы, от одного из котороых родился сын и в 1946 произошёл развод.
