Окончила ФЗУ в Нижнем Новгороде. На Колыме, куда в октябре 1950 года она приехала к ссыльному Залман-Иосефу Шифрину, работала воспитательницей в детском саду для детей репрессированных. С 1966-го года жила с семьёй в Юрмале.
