    До 1979 жил в Ленинграде, работал в научно-исследовательском институте. С начала 1980 живет и работает в Воркуте, преподает в Воркутинском горном институте, заведует одной из кафедр этого института. В качестве главного редактора выпускает единственный в республике научно-технический журнал "Народное хозяйство Республики Коми". В последние годы умудрился оказаться депутатом горсовета Воркуты. С конца шестидесятых годов начал писать стихи. Публиковался в городской воркутинской газете "Заполярье" и в двух сборниках литературного объединения Воркуты.
