My Great Grandmother was Sarah Alterman, born to Kusiel in 1862 in Vishki, Latvia.
Kusiel Alterman was born in about 1833 to Gershen Alterman.
My Great Grandmother Sarah Alterman married to Beinesh USDIN in around 1884.
She had 2 brothers Bierko, born in 1861 and Leib and 2 sisters Judasha and Rivka.
Leib Alterman married to Sora- Iska, daughter of Zalman Seltzer. They had children:
- Gershon- David Alterman, born on June 16, 1890 in Dvinsk
- Dveira Alterman, born on May 14, 1898 in Dvinsk.
I am looking for relatives.

Dear Christine,
Judging by the information in your letter I can say that we can be relatives. My great grandfather Berka Alterman Kusiel lived in Dvinsk from 1902 till 1915 and worked at a factory. His wife Genya Shubich was born in 1874. They had 8 children, 4 of them died. Those who survived are: Kostya,Grisha and Leva( boys), Bluma ( a girl). My grandfather was born in 1902 and married Mary Zafranskaya who was born in 1903.They had 3 children: Kostya, Grisha and Nelly. Zelik .is my father.
I know little about my grandfather's family, I have no photos of him.l'd like to know about the life of his family. I live in Bryansk( Russia ).
