    Actress who is said to have been CS Lewis's inspiration for the character of Lucy in the Narnia stories, and whom Clement married in 1950 when he was 26 and she 20. Jill is still glamorous and runs a successful theatre company in Suffolk close to where they have their country house in the Suffolk village of Walberswick.
