Adeline Miller (Grohman) - Biography

- Time period (years): Born 1930, still living.

- Living place: Fort Oglethorpe, GA, Nursing Home

- Occupation: Disabled, Studied to be an RN after Graduation from Jonesville High School, MI in 1948, then got into a car crash that almost took her life. She was in a Coma for 1 year, then had to learn to walk, talk & eat all over again. She attained severe brain damage, & had become Schitzophrenic. She has never worked since then, has been disabled.

- Interests: (all prior to accident)Artist, portraits & paintings, nursing & swimming. After accident: crocheting, knitting & cooking.

- Quotes: "If I knew you were a comming, I'd a baked a cake"(she used to sing it all the time).

- Short story: My father Joseph Grohman, met her while she was a nurse (LPN) & wanted to marry her. She got into the car accident, but he decided to marry her anyways, when she recovered in 11 October 1953. Her first born was Juanita (1959) & 2nd born Mary (1960).
