My Dna was loaded to MyHeritage.com, & It shows that I am 2.3% Ashkenazi Jewish. Also in FamilyTreeDna, shows the same thing.

I have come to find out that my Great Grandma Anna Kondel's family escaped Russia & went to Czechleslovakia (now Czech Republic), one of my Curtis/Curtiss relatives says that his grandmother was my grandma Norah Curtis' sister. His grandpa said to her at Easter Dinner (they cooked a ham) & he said why did you cook a ham? You know we are really Jewish."
Anna Kondel's brother Wenzl Kondel was also looking for Jewish ancestry. Kondel was Kondelik changed to Kondel, but ORIGINALLY it was KUCERA. (& Kucerova). I now believe that in the 1600's to early 1800's this part of my ancestry was originally Jewish.
